Traveling is fun, but it could be a nightmare if we don’t plan it properly. Here are a few tips that could help you make a better preparation on your trip.

Partners
First you have to make sure with whom you go on your trip. Is it your friend, your wife or husband, your family including the kids, or just you alone? This step will help you a lot in planning your trip. The planning and situation would be different if you go only with your wife compared with the kids come along.

Destination
Decide your destination, is it abroad or still in your country. Beach or mountain, or both. Sun bathing in a tropical place like Bali or go skiing at Alpena. Once you decide your destination, it will help you a lot in preparing other stuff.

Information
Find information about your destination place as much as you can, so you could make a good plan with it. A guidebook will help you a lot. Googling about your destination place would be great too. You will find a lot of useful tips and review about your destination place.

Check your health
Next thing is check your health. Make sure you are on a good condition. It would be better if you know everything about your health including your allergic about some foods or stuff. Also make sure you prepare all off your personal medicine.

Vaccination
if you go overseas especially to some tropical place, it would be better if you get a proper vaccination. This would be needed to protect you from some local disease such as swamp fever.

Travel agent
Take time to find a good travel agent. They will provide us a good accommodation, information, and everything we need in our trip from airplane to hotel and also great places to visit.

Insurance
it would be great if you also take out appropriate travel insurance. This would help us to cover hospital treatment, or any emergency condition which could occur.

Passport and Visas
Make sure your passport and visas if needed ready.

Understanding local laws
if you go overseas, make sure you understand local laws. This would prevent us from accidental break local laws which could lead to trouble.

Packing
Make sure you prepare and pack the entire thing you need including your personal medicine, charger for your phone, cloths, digital camera for documentation, etc. pick it carefully so you’ll still have enough room for your souvenir later. Unless you already prepare budget for that.

Stay in touch
Make sure you leave a copy of your number at home and keep in touch with friend or relatives while overseas.
